Columbia Cafe - Riverwalk Tampa

About

  • 15-30, $$, $$$

Enjoy waterfront drinks, tapas and our delicious Spanish/Cuban cuisine at the Columbia Cafe in the Tampa Bay History Center on the Tampa Riverwalk. Casual attire is fine, but we don't allow sleeveless shirts on men. The Cafe proudly serves locally brewed craft beers on tap. We offer a full bar, and serve lunch and dinner daily. Live music Friday and Saturday nights on our outdoor, canopy covered waterfront patio bar. Located next to the Amalie Arena, and walking distance along the Tampa Riverwalk from the Marriott Waterside Hotel, Embassy Suites, the Florida Aquarium, Sparkman Wharf and the Tampa Convention Center. Guests can dine inside at a scaled-down version of the original mahogany bar at our sister restaurant, the Columbia in Tampa's historic Ybor City, built more than a century ago in 1905 by the Brunswick Company. If you're boating, we invite you to dock at Garrison Channel outside the Tampa Bay History Center at one of eight tie-ups.

Questions & Answers

The Columbia Cafe is at the Tampa Bay History Center, which is indeed across the street from the arena.

Opens at 11 am

Sorry no

We frequently have leashed dogs and their well-behaved owners outside.

No. There is indoor seating as well.

On outside patio

Yes

The Cafe is across the street of the southeast corner of the arena. It's less than a 5 minute walk to the main gates.

You can see it if you walk down the river walk on the back side of that building my wife and I actually take our boat and park at the city boat dock and walk straight to the Columbia cafe and we always get there after dark so their open told maybe 10 or 11 o'clock at night. And the food is fantastic!
